FLAT ROCK – Friday Staffing was among the honorees Thursday at the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce 87th Annual Dinner and Awards Program.In presenting the First Citizens Bank Customer Service Excellence Award, chamber past chairman Greg Burnette called winner Friday Staffing Services "truly deserving" of the honor. The award recognizes a local business that goes beyond the call of duty to provide a high quality of service to its customers. Friday Staffing Services is a full -service employment agency. It provides employment services to clients ranging from small offices to local plants of Fortune 500 companies. "This company was chosen for our award because they always strive to provide the best employees for the job every time," Burnette said. "They truly live by the golden rule of treating people the way you would want to be treated. They are very customer service-oriented and treat their customers and staff well." Friday Staffing was established in Hendersonville in 1980 and now employs 15 internal staffers. There are 400 to 600 workers who go on short-term and long-term assignments in the field. Dave Modaff, president of Friday Staffing Services, has been with the firm since 2000. He credited his staff with the honor."I'm very excited to be recognized," he said. "It's a testament to the employees at Friday's who treat staff by the golden rule as if they were friends and family. They are the reason we would get this award. Some of our staff have been there more than 20 years."
