Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Previous Fork Lift experience required and must be able to complete fork lift (re)certification.
Read and follow daily production schedule and instructions. Prepare packaging materials by retrieving items from storage, applying labels to containers, setting up and loading filling machines, stacking and palletizing products.
Operate various automatic and manual packaging machines, scales and printing devices, industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks and other material handling tools and equipment.
Maintain accurate written and electronic records as required by specific tasks.
Assist other operators as directed by supervisors.
Communicate immediately to Operators, Supervisors, or any member of management all circumstances which may affect quality or are considered questionable and unsafe.
Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment by properly identifying and storing ingredients, supplies and products as directed by supervisors.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
• Actively support the identification and elimination of waste with the objective of achieving a process which flows the product at the pull rate of the customer.
• Submit continuous improvement suggestions.
Previous Fork Lift experience required and must be able to complete fork lift certification.
Successfully pass assessments including Mechanical Aptitude, Basic Reading, Basic Math Computation.
$12.00 - $12.40+
7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am with alternating weekends
