We are looking for a few good men and women to fill over 70 full time jobs right now in Western North Carolina.
If you have manufacturing, warehouse, industrial or mechanical skills and experience we want to talk to you! We also have some administrative, accounting, and customer service positions available.
This is not your typical career fair. You won’t have to walk from table to table, handing out resumes and meeting different recruiters or hiring managers before waiting for follow up calls and interviews. At the Friday Services career fair, you can come to our office and meet directly with a career counselor who will consider your skills, interests, and work history, and then try to match you with an open job that is available now. It’s like applying for dozens of jobs in one go.
All-In-One Career Fair
Friday Services’s career fair will make the job search process as easy and fast as possible. Here is how it will work: On the day of the fair, job seekers will…
1. Fill out our online application. (We’ll provide the use of our computers.)
2. Immediately get career guidance and a job interview—all in one—from a member of the Friday Services team.
3. If we find the right job for you, we may be able to make you an offer immediately (pending the results of a drug screen and reference check.)
You don’t have to wait until the fair to get started. We are hiring now so go ahead and fill out our online job application if you are ready to get to work right away.

Who We Are Looking to Hire
We are seeking workers with a GED or high school diploma who have reliable transportation. Previous manufacturing experience or mechanical ability preferred. We are filling jobs on many types of shifts including: 10 and 12 hour shifts, swing shifts, and rotating shifts, and some jobs have the potential for overtime.
Friday Services is a proud employer of veterans as well as those who are currently serving in the National Guard and National Reserve. Workers who have served in the military are encouraged to apply.
What to Bring to the Asheville Job Fair
A resume is not required, but if you do have a resume prepared, bring it with you on the day of the career fair. If you don’t have a resume—please bring the following information:
Work History
For each job you have held over the past seven years, be prepared to share with us:
- Employers’ names
- A list of your job duties
- Your job titles
- Employer addresses (or city and state)
- Contact numbers
- Supervisors’ names
- Pay rates
- Start dates and end dates (if you are no longer employed there)
Education Information
- The names of all technical schools, training programs, colleges or universities you have attended
- Any degrees or certifications you have earned
- Graduation dates
- GPAs
References
Bring contact information for any other professional or personal references you want us to consider. Co-workers, teachers, volunteer supervisors, and coaches all make excellent references.
