Some employers prefer to try out new employees as temporary workers before hiring them internally. Once a temporary worker proves himself or herself to be a good fit for the job then the employer has the option to make them a long-term job offer and hire them on permanently.
Many employers come to Friday Services seeking temporary workers for jobs that could turn into long-term positions. Since we were founded in 1981 we have helped countless workers in Western North Carolina begin new careers in “temporary to permanent” positions. We always take time to celebrate the successes of employees who have started new careers with an employer after starting out as members of the Friday Services team.

Lee, Chad, Bruce, Justin, Joseph, Danny and Jonathan were all hired on full-time at Continental in Morganton after being placed by Friday Services.
Enoc was recently hired on full-time at Morganton Pressure Vessels after working on a temporary assignment for Friday Services.
Ben was hired on full-time at Continental after working on a temporary assignment through Friday Services.
Justin was hired on full-time at Wilsonart after working on a temporary assignment through Friday Services.
